The Congress
About the Congress
The Royal Hospital International Congress 2026 is a global scientific platform that brings together leading experts, researchers, healthcare professionals, and decision-makers from around the world, with the aim of strengthening the exchange of knowledge and experience and shaping the future of healthcare amid the sector's rapid transformation.
Organized by The Royal Hospital from 13 to 17 December 2026 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, the Congress stands as one of the largest scientific and healthcare gatherings in the region, with broad participation from speakers, experts, and local and international healthcare and academic institutions.
RHIC is founded on a vision centered on creating bridges of collaboration across healthcare disciplines, and highlighting the latest scientific developments, medical technologies, and innovative solutions that contribute to improving the quality and outcomes of healthcare. It offers an integrated platform for scientific dialogue, the presentation of research, and the exploration of future solutions driven by artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
Through more than 29 healthcare specialties, scientific sessions, workshops, research presentations, and industry engagement opportunities, the Congress seeks to provide an exceptional scientific experience that strengthens learning, professional networking, and the exchange of expertise — building effective partnerships that support the future of the healthcare sector regionally and internationally.
This reflects The Royal Hospital's commitment to its leading role in supporting knowledge, innovation, and institutional excellence, and to contributing to a more sustainable and efficient healthcare future.

The Royal Hospital
About The Royal Hospital
Established in 1987, The Royal Hospital stands as a landmark of medical excellence and specialized tertiary care in the Sultanate of Oman. With more than 600 beds, it provides advanced care across oncology, cardiology, pediatrics, and intensive care medicine.
The hospital also serves as the national reference center for training successive generations of medical professionals under the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB), and continues to strengthen its position as a leading institution in supporting scientific research, medical education, and institutional excellence.
Visual Identity
Visual Identity
The visual identity of RHIC 2026 was designed to reflect an integrated vision that brings together a deep-rooted institutional legacy, excellence driven by leadership, and ambition shaped by innovation. Its elements are inspired by a continuous journey of growth and progress — one that expresses the position Oman's healthcare system holds today, and its vision for a more advanced and sustainable future.
The identity is built from three interconnected core elements, each representing a key value that forms the foundation of the Congress journey and The Royal Hospital's mission in supporting health and knowledge excellence.
Sustainability
The foundation from which the journey toward leadership and innovation begins. The green shape represents the base upon which achievements are built and accumulated knowledge is preserved — reflecting foundation, continuity, and the ability to turn achievements into a base for new ones.
Leadership
Represented by the dark blue shape, expressing the present in which achievements are made and visions become tangible reality. It symbolizes integration, empowerment, and excellence — the stage where knowledge becomes practice, and ambition becomes results.
Innovation
Represented by the open shape — deliberately open and unfinished — reflecting that the future remains a vast space for opportunity, discovery, and new ideas, and the ability to reimagine the future of healthcare.
Artificial Intelligence & Digital Transformation
A central line runs through and connects the three elements, embodying artificial intelligence and digital transformation — the driving force linking sustainability, leadership, and innovation, turning accumulated knowledge into practical solutions and current achievements into future opportunities.
Fostering Innovation. Advancing Excellence.
More than a set of design elements, the identity tells the story of a continuous journey: it begins with sustainability, takes shape through leadership, and looks toward innovation — with artificial intelligence and digital transformation connecting knowledge to progress, ideas to application, and ambition to achievement.

Luban — The Icon
Luban — The Congress Icon
I am Luban, the icon of RHIC 2026. My name is inspired by Omani frankincense — luban — one of the symbols woven into Oman's history and civilizational presence across the ages. From this land, its journey set out to every corner of the world, carrying a value far beyond trade — becoming a means of connection between peoples and a bridge linking cultures, knowledge, and civilizations.
Today, I continue that journey in a new form. Just as frankincense was a symbol of connection and the exchange of knowledge, I now embody the Congress's mission of building bridges between expertise, disciplines, and ideas — bringing together leading practitioners, researchers, and experts on a single platform for dialogue, learning, and innovation.
This philosophy is reflected in the Congress identity, built on three core values: sustainability, which gives us strong roots; leadership, which guides us toward impact; and innovation, which opens the horizons of the future — all connected by a single path representing artificial intelligence and digital transformation, just as the ancient frankincense routes once connected civilizations across vast distances.
