Abstract Structure

Four Required Sections, 300 Words Total

Background

State the clinical problem, context, and objective of the study in 1–2 sentences.

Methods

Describe study design, setting, participants, and the analysis approach used.

Results

Summarize key findings with relevant data; avoid vague or unsupported statements.

Conclusion

State the significance, implications, and relevance to clinical practice.

Formatting & Eligibility Rules

  • Word limit: 300 words maximum for Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion combined.
  • Title: concise and specific, sentence case, maximum 25 words.
  • Abbreviations: define all abbreviations at first use.
  • Track selection: assign your abstract to ONE of the 31 conference tracks.
  • Study types accepted: Original Research, Case Report/Series, Clinical Trial, Quality Improvement Project, Systematic Review/Meta-Analysis, Audit, or Other.
  • Ethical clearance: required for original research, clinical trials, and case reports involving patient data.
  • Originality: submissions must represent original, unpublished work not presented at another conference.

Submission Process

Prepare

Draft your abstract following the 4-section structure, within 300 words.

Submit

Complete the online submission form with author details and abstract.

Review

Track Lead Reviewers conduct blind peer review of all submissions.

Notification

Authors are notified of acceptance and presentation format.

Present

Deliver your presentation at the Congress, 13–17 December.

Recognition

Young Investigator Award 2026

Open to students, residents, or researchers within 5 years of post-graduate qualification. Winners are selected based on scientific quality, originality, and presentation, and honored at the closing ceremony.
